Church Life

Sunday Worship

Attending church each Sunday is a respite from fast-paced daily living. We slow down for a couple hours each week to gather together, reflect, worship God, strengthen our spiritual connections, and refocus our lives on Jesus Christ.

Children

Children are an important part of our church family. They are encouraged to take part in every aspect of the service, including singing and communion. We provide colouring-in for small children and notebooks for older children to help them engage with the message. (We understand that kids make noise and fidget and that’s okay – it adds to the family atmosphere.) There is a parents room located just off the main auditorium with live feed of the service for parents of babies and toddlers who need extra attention.

We offer crèche for pre-school children every Sunday and Connect Kidz program for primary school children on the second Sunday of every month. These both run parallel to the main service and in different buildings. Kids can of course stay with parents in the main service if you/they prefer. For safety and peace of mind we require you to sign your child/ren in and out of these programs and rest assured, any Connect Church leader working with children holds a current Blue Card.

Connect Kidz partners with families to equip the next generation to be followers and disciples of Christ. This is achieved through Bible lessons, memory verses, activities, craft, games and building friendships to support one another.

Youth

Students in grades 7 – 12 are invited to come along to Connect Youth every Friday night during school terms, 6:30pm – 9pm.
A Friday night consists of fun games, worship and relevant Biblical teaching.Throughout the year there are also off-campus excursions and youth camps. All opt-in.

Any Connect Church leader working with children holds a current Blue Card.

Men

The aim of our men’s gatherings is to encourage each other, get equipped for life, and have a lot of fun along the way. We arrange a men’s event twice per year – details to come. We also encourage men to create their own smaller social and outdoor gatherings at other times.

Women

Real Authentic Women (RAW) is our platform for encouraging women in the faith. Our events are twice a year, usually in the evening, and include fun, food and fellowship. We also encourage women to build community by gathering socially outside of these times.

Missions

Connect Church is passionate about equipping the saints for the work of the ministry. There are opportunities to contribute to projects and needs locally and overseas. Some of the missions we are involved with are: Global Care, chaplaincy, Prison Fellowship and International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ).

We are always looking for ways to expand our reach, so if you’d like to learn more and contribute, click here to fill out a contact form.

Connect Groups

God created us to live in relationship with Him and each other to fulfil the purposes He has for us all. Connect Groups are a vital part of healthy Christian living and a way to be encouraged, supported and grow in faith. To find out how they work and get connected in,

Communion Table

On the first Sunday of every month, we hold a fuller version of communion, gathering together over a meal to remember and celebrate Jesus’ death on the cross on our behalf.

Baptism

Baptism in water is a public declaration that you have professed faith in Christ and you can also testify to His work of salvation in your life.

For more information on baptism, please ask at the Connect Desk and we’ll provide you with an educational workbook.
